I have never seen these ads before, but it sure looks from the image clip that Yao's ad is a picture of a monkey on a basketball!Like, I dunno, maybe he's born in the year of the monkey, or maybe he's just a foreign asian man who makes clicky sounds when he talks, no matter how well he plays basketball.

It would seem, unfortunately, that these images are those that the celebrities chose themselves, or at least were willing to associate with themselves in the public eye. As far as that goes, shame on them all. But then, I'm not really a fan of advertising or of product spokespeople.

I'm wondering if the people picked those "I am what I am" images themselves, or if it was left to the ad company? I would think that defining what "I am" would be left to the individuals themselves? If so, that puts a different spin on things...
